JUMANJI

Jumanji sponsored by Alpha feeds of Leverton has progressed from Novice to Elementary in his first season. Since upgrading Jumanji to BD Elementary level it has been far more difficult to stay in the placings but he has continued to suprise me with his ability to cope with the work and has been placed first five times, second five times and fourth five times in twenty-two outings. The last two outings to competitions we have achieved 65% and 66% so improving.
I still train on a weekly basis with local event rider Helen Scholl and have recently started having lessons once a month with Hannah Esberger-shepherd from Sheffield. Our average percentage last season was 63.53% we need to try and push this up to 67% for next season.
many thanks to all the team at Alpha for supplying such a super product. We have continued to have some good competition results always being placed and getting over 60% having a win at Newark and two 4ths at Sissons area festival and a 2nd at Newark last week. The week of 1st June another win at Newark dressage with 64.8% and a fourth with 62.4& next outing to Elms Farm then Newark again still chasing another win in a qualifier to get to the regionals. With 65% in elementary 44 at Elms Farm we finaly managed to qualify for the Regional Championships at Frys in Yorkshire in August.Had a brilliant day at Fry's,it was a very good experience for us both unfortunatly we did not get placed. We did two medium tests at Laughton Manor achieving 62.4% & 63.6% The next and last elementary outing is to Sheepgate Tack and Toggs in October
